Despre tirajul unei cărţi poştale simple din 1893

Este vorba de numărul de catalog CP.32 după CMPR 1974, care este singura carte poştală corespunzând descrierii. Nota am descoperit-o în revista The Philatelic Record, vol. 15, nr. 175 din iulie 1893, pag. 157. Nota spune cam aşa:

«We have received a post card, which is said to be provisional, issued pending the arrival of the new issue. The stamp, consisting of a large numeral "5," is within an uncoloured oval band, inscribed "Romania" in the upper part, and "cinci bani " in the lower part. This is in the right upper angle, and the Arms in the left upper angle, and between them is " carta postala," followed by four dotted lines for the address, the first preceded by "d" and the third by "la," with a thick line underneath the latter. Size 144 x 102 mm. The first issue of a quarter of a million was all disposed of in two days.»
