One man's lifetime work in the best of quality housed on old fashioned quadrille album pages, mint and used. Periodically this collector has accompanied the pages with diagrams illustrating the different printings and constant varieties, from their respective positions in the sheet. There are a few 100 stamps here, all imperforate four margined, including multiples. The Moldavia-Wallachia has tete-beche on each denomination, followed by the 1865 Prince Alexandru definitives again uniformly excellent condition with each denomination represented, including laid papers and various multiples. Then the Prince Carol imperforate issues, highlights including mint blocks and pairs of the 10 bani as well as singles of the 5, 10 and 15 bani, the latter 3 values identified by a dozen examples reflecting the broken letter and frame varieties, all extensively researched. Also seen the 1866/67 issues again with every denomination present with shade varieties, as well as superb double concentric circle cancels, colored cancels, varieties, just an absolute delight to view, often there are wing marginal and sheet corner examples, also blue diamond fancy cancels, straightlines, horseshoe, small towns, etc. Unquestionably this is one of the most attractive collections we have had the pleasure to offer from this country. Please study the photoplates to get a flavor of what is here. While is completely ,without a catalog figure it wouldn't be that relevant anyway due to the highest caliber of quality in this outstanding collection.

Nu este dat un preţ popriu-zis, ci o estimare: între 7.500 şi 10.000 dolari SUA. Suma nu este mică. Dar după descrierea colecţiei, s-ar putea să merite. Cu o condiţie: ori să vă duceţi să o vizionaţi, ca să vă convingeţi cu proprii ochi cam ce conţine acumularea, eventual să vă faceţi calculele necesare (dacă intenţionaţi să o achiziţionaţi spre desfacere ulterioară), sau să vă puteţi încrede în cineva de la faţa locului. Oricum, în mod cert o ofertă de acest gen nu este făcută în fiecare zi...
